Imagemaking

Denotative images: literal. very first feeling about the art itself.

apple with gray color: unhealthy, rotten / apple that has very bright color: healthy, good 

Connotative images: metaphorical. the art's metaphorical image. 

falling apple: Newton, Gravity / apple with a snake: good and of evil from the bible

 

When you make a denotative image, you have to think about;

1. What is the essence of the object?
2. How do we recognize this image?
Ex> the shape, the color, the texture, and etc 

 

Process: add more processes to make it better or do something new to improve images
Progress

Generation: Try different ways to show the images

Iteration: make the images in same way but a little bit differently to get the perfect one
Test drive the images
